Great for anyone interested in improvisation, this class will provide the foundational tools to become a great improviser and an awesome human being! This class will cover basic improv concepts like "Yes, and," thinking quickly, taking risks, failing joyfully, listening, and being in the moment, that will enhance day to day life on and off the stage. Students will have tons of fun creating together in a supportive environment, as they become better collaborators and communicators. This class is guaranteed to inspire creativity and spontaneous creation. Learn to see the world through the lens of improvisation! This class will culminate in a showcase performance. Class: Saturdays 4:00 - 6:00PM | April 5 - May 24 Showcase: Sat. June 7, 5PM Instructor: Seth Prerequisites: Completion of Level 2. Note: Must be 18 or older to attend this class. About the Instructor Seth Thomson is a writer, actor and comic who is inspired to share improv's limitless magic. He has been working and performing at The Upfront since 2016, producing shows, teaching and leading our student practice jam. Seth is passionate about guiding others to unlock their inherent powers of intuition and transformation through play.
