Environment | Winter 2018 | Wednesdays
From mime work, to scene painting, to simply doing more in an improv scene than standing there and talking, this environment class will focus on the physicality of improv and its coexistence with the scene’s dialogue. Students will learn to create physical environments from nothing and use them as part of the scene. There will be an emphasis on mime work, remembering mimed objects and there location, and using mimed objects to advance a scene.
