Sam got his first taste for theater in the second grade. A baker with one line in a classroom rendition of The Emperor’s New Clothes, he was rather disillusioned by the wasteful stale-ization of “prop” donuts glued to a plate.
Sam first tried improv in 2014 with the local university improv club. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Science in June of 2016, he auditioned for, and got into, the Upfront’s satellite team. That November he was offered a position among the Mainstage Ensemble, and has been active with the troupe everything since.
