“Acting for the Camera” with Tony Doupe’

Screen acting and audition techniques, for successful camera performance and nailing the audition.
This one-day practical class is designed for all level actors to learn, practice and hone audition and performance techniques for film, television, corporate and commercial productions. Participants will have the opportunity to work in front of the camera at least three times. All levels of experience are welcome but some prior actor training or experience is recommended.
Class size limited to 14 people.
COST: $150 total ($25 registration fee to hold spot through this website. Remaining $125 payable to Tony Doupe’ on day of the workshop)

REQUIRED SUPPLIES: Each student needs to bring a 45 second monologue (does NOT have to be memorized) and a Scan Disk SD card to record their on camera exercises/work
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Tony is a producer, director and SAG-AFTRA actor with more than 34 years’ experience in Seattle, Los Angeles and New Orleans. His feature credits include, “Bad Samaritan”, “Lucky Them” with Thomas Hayden Church and Toni Collette, “Switchmas” with Elliot Gould and David DeLouise, “The River Murders” with Ray Liotta and Christian Slater, “Laggies” starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Keira Knightley and “Wild” with Reese Witherspoon. He has also been a guest star on several TV series including “Librarians”, “Grimm”, “Leverage”, “Z Nation” and “Northern Exposure”.
