Improv 500 – Acting in the Moment | Summer | Thursdays
This class will focus on finding and following the improvised character’s impulse. Through scene work and acting exercises you will learn to discover characters by breaking down offers and exploring details that arise through body connection. We will also apply these techniques to become more comfortable with our character’s assumptions and to make clear choices to drive scenes forward.

Students in this class will realize a scene through a three-part filter:
– What drives the person
– What drives the improviser
– What drives the character
This class will expand your listening and observing abilities as well as your confidence in finding and following impulses.

*Prerequisite: Completion of Improv 300 or referral from Education Director.

Dates: Thursdays, June 29th – August 17th
Time: 5:30 – 7:30pm
