Improv 100

 

Learn improv vocabulary. This course is designed to excite and inspire students, covering the fundamentals and introducing them to the wonderful world of improvisation. Improv 200

 

Students become more familiar with the stage and the elements of story. New games and exercises are learned along with a deeper understanding of the fundamentals learned in improv 100. Students begin to tie together the "Who? What? Where?" of scenework into a double knot of improv awareness. Instructor - Galen Emanuele

Prerequisite: Completion of Improv 100 or Instructor referral.

Improv 300

Students delve into character development and the exploration of the relationships between characters. The class focus is on open scenework and performance onstage, giving students the confidence to work with and support fellow improvisers. After completion of the 300 class students are eligible to perform live, onstage, at our Thursday night show, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (GBU). Instructor - Oona Sherman

Prerequisite: Completion of Improv 200 or Instructor referral.

Improv 400 Performance Series

 

The student's improv skills are honed for live performance as this class focuses primarily on long form improvisation and open scenework. The students will have more stage time than ever and have a class ensemble performance in front of a live audience at the theatre's GBU show on a Thursday night. This class is geared towards improvisers looking to take the next step, and find the future of their 'prov. Instructor - Morgan Grobe
